Euripus, water channels on the ground, is a landscape feature that can be seen in designs dating from Roman eras to current age. As a form common in many different design movements, the development of Euripus’s design can be seen as a reflection of landscape design’s history. In the Euripus puzzle, Euripus from different eras were selected, from Renaissance to postmodern, and key formal character of these designs were summarized into 3”by 3” puzzle blocks. With location of each Euripus arranged to seem to be connected when placed together, players can rearrange the blocks to create Euripus landscapes of their own. In this way, new Euripus forms were generated from essence of past Euripus designs.
